چکیده

Interspecific interactions and recovery growth play an important role in crop growth, development ultimately yield intercropping systems. However, the impact of different water nitrogen levels on production, interspecific between intercrops, late-maturing crops is still unclear. A two-year field experiment was conducted Yangling, Shaanxi province, to investigate dynamics interactions, effects yield. The consisted three factors, including cropping systems (wheat/maize intercropping, sole wheat, maize), (N) two applications (supplementary irrigation rainfed). results demonstrated that, during co-growth period, intercropped wheat more competitive than maize; so, showed a advantage. Intercropping increased maize under irrigated conditions, this attributed full after harvest. rainfed nil aggravated competition, deficit rows, turn, limited maize, leading reduction. compared with decreased, indicating deficiency maize. Among all treatments, medium fertilizer had best improvement land use advantages, total 14.8% higher that cropping, efficiency 16%. These confirmed supplementary optimal application alleviated promoted improved wheat/maize system.

Effect of nitrogen levels and nitrogen ratios on lodging resistance and yield potential of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

Lodging is one of the constraints that limit wheat yields and quality due to the unexpected bending or breaking stems on wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) production worldwide. In addition to choosing lodging resistance varieties, husbandry practices also have a significant effect on lodging. Nitrogen management is one of the most common and efficient methods. A field experiment with Yangmai 20 as r...

Allelopathic Assessment of Genetically Modified and Non Modified Maize (zea Mays L.) on Physiology of Wheat (triticum Aestivum L.)

The aim of this work was to study the allelopathic effect of 3 extracts viz 3%,5% and 10% prepared from leaves of GM (insect resistance) and non GM maize on physiology of succeeding crop wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). The extracts prepared from GM maize significantly decreased chlorophyll a content but significantly increased chlorophyll b content as compared with untreated control. Content of c...

Allelopathic Effects of Aqueous Extracts of Sunflower on Wheat (triticum Aestivum L.) and Maize (zea Mays L.)

Sunflower is a potent allelopathic plant which possesses important allelochemicals with known allelopathic activity on other plants. In this study, allelopathic effects of fresh aqueous extracts (FAE) and air dried aqueous extracts (DAE) of root, shoot and leaves of sunflower (Halianthus annuus L.) were investigated on germination and seedling growth of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and maize (Z...

A 3- years (2015, 2016 and 2017) field study was carried out at National Wheat Research Program, Bhirahawa, Rupandehi, Nepal to evaluate the influence of crop residues and nitrogen levels on rice. The experiment was conducted in split plot design with three replications. Main plots were two crop residue levels (with crop residues of 30 cm wheat stubble and without crop residues) and sub plots c...
